Booking guidance
How booking with Parrot Safaris works.
Booking confidence begins with a clear written record. This guide explains the practical journey from an initial enquiry to the point where you are ready to consider a confirmed safari.
Start with your trip details
Share your proposed dates, number of travellers, interests and accommodation preferences. If something is still undecided, say so. The purpose of the first enquiry is to give Parrot enough context to shape the right route and quotation.
Sending an enquiry starts a planning conversation. It does not confirm a booking. Exact travel arrangements are confirmed separately in writing.
Receive a written quotation
Before you commit, the final route, inclusions, accommodation, price or charging basis and applicable terms should be clear in writing.
Use the written quotation to compare the proposed itinerary with the catalogue page. Ask for clarification if a route, service, optional activity or price basis is not explicit.
Availability is reconfirmed
Accommodation is subject to availability and is reconfirmed when your booking is made.
Check the accommodation stated for your proposed trip before you commit. A catalogue reference should not be treated as a confirmed property unless it is identified in the written booking details supplied to you.
Catalogue range and final quotation
The catalogue shows the approved range or On Request for each accommodation class. Rates are subject to reconfirmation before quotation, and the applicable rate and charging basis must be confirmed in the written quotation.
Keep the record clear
Pause when a detail changes.
Verify unexpected instructions
If payment or booking instructions change unexpectedly, pause and verify them using the phone number or email address published on this website before acting.
Use the contact details on parrotsafaris.com rather than replying only through an unexpected message or following newly supplied contact details without checking them.
Keep sensitive information out of enquiry forms
Please do not include passport details, payment information or sensitive medical information in a website enquiry.
Ask for the applicable terms
The payment schedule and cancellation terms that apply must be confirmed in a written proposal and booking agreement before you book or pay.
If anything in a quotation is unclear, ask us to explain it in writing before you commit.
Read the current website terms notice, review the privacy notice, or contact Parrot directly when a quotation needs clarification.
